All About Us

Kudos to our Volunteers!

Here is how our hard-working volunteers must feel after they finish their tasks for our club.

The FBDCA, like other not-for-profit organizations, depends on dedicated people who are willing to work long and hard for no pay and often little recognition or thanks.

We want to recognize and applaud those people who contribute so much to our club and ourt breed.

This month, we thank the countless volunteers who helped make the 2009 Specialty such a resounding success.  If you attended the specialty, you may have noticed that there were a lot of people running around doing things. It would be impossible to name them all, so we want to just thank everyone who:
•    chaired or worked on a show committee
•    donated stuff to, or crammed stuff into, welcome bags
•    sat at tables and sold stuff and handed stuff out
•    helped haul stuff around
•    donated and/or bought stuff
•    made stuff
•    organized stuff
•    picked up stuff (especially stuff other people and their dogs left lying around)
•    did a lot of  computer stuff
•    decorated stuff
•    organized and wrangled stuff
•    helped by doing stuff at the clinics and seminars
•    spent time working before, during and after the show when they could
have been enjoying doing other stuff
•    any of the other kinds of stuff that required your time and your energy......

We wish we could name you all, but you know who you are and you know how much we appreciated your help.  Merci, gracias, and danke!

Special Needs

French Bulldogs have special needs and are not for everyone.  Living with them is not the same as looking at them and admiring them.  See whether this is the breed for you.
