2018 FBDCA National Show Committee would like to inform everyone of a judge change for this years Independent Specialty that follows the National. Mrs Rita Holloway will be our new judge on November 1st and 2nd for all class assignments.
Mr. Robert Hutton resigned his judging assignment and his resignation was accepted by the committee and BOD.
Attention ratters! An update on the Barn Hunt event that will be held in conjunction with the 2018 National. There will be 4 trials (2 rings), 2 each day Saturday, Nov 3 and Sunday, Nov 4, with all classes (including Instinct & Crazy 8s) offered at each trial. The event is in Brooks, KY (about 15-minute drive from the host hotel), in a climate-controlled indoor facility (both heat & A/C). Trials open 10/8, and it is important to get entries in as close to the date as possible, as this is an all-breed trial & I have been told it will fill quickly. The premium is not yet available, but below is the information off the BHA Inc website with all details. I will post a link as soon as the premium is available (probably late September). This event will count towards the Superdog award (for dogs competing in 4 or more specialty events this year).
